About Mobile VAS Conference

Panel of Speakers

Target Audience

The Indian Merchants' Chamber Mobile VAS Conference 2009 will highlight key topics of importance for the Mobile value added services in India. Join a distinguished host of speakers to discuss and explore exciting topics such as "3G", Mcommerce, Rural VAS, Mfunding and Social networking on mobile phones.

Session I
Mvas for NextGen (3G) Networks – Opportunities & Expectations

The future of mobile telecommunication in India has its paths paved with the entry of 3G in the Indian spectrum. In this session MTNL will be demonstrating the application of 3G that is relevant in the Indian frontier. We will have a look at how the technology finds fertile ground even in its infant days in our motherland.

Session II
Social Networking & Mobile Marketing/ Advertising on Mobiles
With the new wave of PC users concentrating most of their online time to social networking, we can expect 3G to facilitate services that encourage and strengthen this sector. The strong corporate giants in India have never missed a medium to advertise their products. MVAS will open many new doors to advertise and market their products efficiently.

Session III
Mobile Commerce in India
The cell phone market has been accepted with open arms throughout the country and is still blossoming in even the remotest parts of our land. Keeping this in mind, we can expect a gratifying subscriber base to Mobile Commerce since it helps people get better control over their money.
M-Commerce has very good response by customer base to these services from operators, banks and third party service providers.

Session IV
MVAS funding in 2009
Spreading MVAS across the many states of India efficiently will require a good amount of funding. Since it involves a mighty risk to fund a new technology in a challenging environment like India, it takes great strategy, planning and courage to have the right amount of funds in place.

Session V
VAS in RURAL markets
The best way for any technology to flourish in India is by claiming its hold on the rural sections of the country. A major part of the country is still in the shadow of technological ignorance. All it takes is a little push ahead from our end to help our rural folk realize the benefits of using VAS services to enhance communication and data transfer from one end to another. It is time to heed the betterment of the neglected 70% population of India.

A panel of speakers who have been extremely successful in implementing Mobile VAS in their organizations will be sharing the benefits they have got out of implementing Mobile VAS and their EXPERTISE in Mobile VAS Strategies :
